Byron Carmona

Byron Carmona has worked in a variety of roles in the hospitality industry since 2007. Byron began their career at Base Sports as an Assistant Warehouse Logistics Manager. In 2010, they worked as a Sound Engineer for Fairfield Halls and held multiple roles at Meliá Hotels International, including Reception Supervisor, Night Auditor, and Receptionist. From 2012 to 2016, Byron worked at Hilton Worldwide, where they held roles such as Assistant Operations Manager, Interim Health Club Manager (Head of Department), and Front Office Supervisor. Byron then moved on to One Hyde Park as an Assistant Resident Services Manager and London & Regional Properties as an Operations Manager (Fixed Term Contract). In 2017, Byron joined British Land as a Senior Cluster Community Manager, managing a team of 4 Community Managers and overseeing day-to-day building operations across 7 Storey properties. Byron then moved to Workspace Group as a Cluster Centre Manager, before taking on their current role as Pre-Opening General Manager for The Qube in 2022.

Byron Carmona has an education history that began in 2003 when they completed their A-Levels Science and Technology (Bachillerato Científico-Técnico) at IES Bernat de Sarrià. Byron then attended Universidad Politécnica de Valencia from 2006 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Audiovisual Communications Technologies. From 2008 to 2010, they completed a DipHE in Sound Engineering at SCV Juan Comenius. In 2015, they graduated from London Metropolitan University with an Instrument Making degree in Musical Instrument Fabrication and Repair.

In addition to their formal education, Byron has obtained several certifications, including an Introduction to Coaching from CIPD in 2022, a WOW! Award Winner in November and October 2019 from The WOW! Awards :: Employee Recognition Programs, an IOSH - Managing Safely from International Workplace in 2019, a BIIAB Personal License from Westminster City Council in 2013, and an MDP 2 - Coaching and Mentoring from Hilton.
