Nina Mak

Nina Mak, CPA, CA, currently serves as the Financial Controller at The Remington Group since February 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Manager in the Low Rise Finance Division. Concurrently, Nina has been a Faculty Instructor for Intermediate Financial Accounting II and Introduction to Financial Accounting at Schulich School of Business, York University since 2016. Nina's prior experience includes roles at Walmart Canada from 2015 to February 2020, where responsibilities spanned Senior Financial Analyst in Merchandise Finance, Corporate Reporting Analyst, and Internal Auditor within the CPA Pre-Approved Program. Earlier professional experiences include an Assurance Intern position at EY in 2014 and a Dealership Accounting Associate role at Toronto Chrysler from 2012 to 2013, as well as work as an Accountant at Lorne Weinreb, CA from 2011 to 2012. Nina holds a Master of Accounting (MAcc) and a Bachelor of International Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, both earned from Schulich School of Business - York University.
