Donald Yergeau obtained a PhD in a scientific field and has a diverse work experience. Donald started their career as a Research Technician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where they worked from August 1993 to September 1997. Donald then pursued further education, becoming a Graduate Student at Northeastern University from September 1996 to September 2003. After completing their PhD, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from November 2002 to May 2012, where they focused on using frogs as a model organism to study blood cell development. From May 2012 to January 2016, they served as a Research Lab Specialist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, working on the Pediatric Cancer Genome Project. Subsequently, they held the role of Staff Scientist at the same institution from January 2016 to February 2017. Currently, they are the Associate Director of Genomic Technology at The Research Foundation for SUNY, starting from February 2017 onwards.
Donald Yergeau earned a high school diploma from Bishop Stang in 1988. Donald then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Quinnipiac University from 1988 to 1992. Following this, Donald enrolled at Northeastern University where they completed their PhD in Biology and Biochemistry between 1996 and 2003.
