Melissa Emanus Ms, Cra

Melissa Emanus, MS, CRA, currently serves as the Export Control and Research Compliance Officer at The Research Foundation for SUNY, where responsibilities include developing and monitoring research compliance functions and staying updated on regulatory changes. Previously, Melissa held the role of Director of Sponsored Programs at CUNY New York City College of Technology, leading research proposal administration and compliance efforts. Earlier experience includes multiple positions at The Research Foundation for SUNY, progressing from Sponsored Program Associate II to Director, overseeing grant management and compliance. Melissa began their career at Tufts University as a Grants Analyst and Sr. Grant Accountant, managing complex grant portfolios and enhancing financial processes. Melissa holds a Master of Science in Management/Research Administration from Emmanuel College and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
