Tammy Bleier is a skilled professional in environmental science and marine policy, currently serving as a Research Assistant at The Research Foundation for SUNY since May 2018. Previously, Tammy held the position of International Activities Fellow at NOAA, where contributions included supporting international ocean science initiatives. As the Founder of the Plastic Lakes Project, Tammy organized cleanups that removed over 2000 pounds of debris with the help of more than 300 volunteers.
