Ray Trapp

Ray Trapp serves as the Vice President of Strategic Engagement at Research Triangle Park since January 2021. Prior to this role, Trapp was the Director of External Affairs at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from April 2017 to December 2020. Trapp also held the position of County Commissioner in Guilford County, North Carolina, from November 2012 to April 2017, where responsibilities included administering county government services and levying local taxes. Trapp earned a Master of Science in Agricultural Teacher Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University between 2018 and 2020 and has also studied at the University of Baltimore from 2004 to 2005.
