The Retreat is a 501(c)(3) domestic violence organization which provides a wide array of direct services, including five core services of Crisis Hotline, Domestic Violence Shelter, Legal Advocacy, Counseling, and  Prevention Education.

The Support Services team at The Retreat plays a vital role in providing comprehensive assistance to domestic violence victims and their families. This multidisciplinary team, which includes shelter workers, legal assistants, and counselors, collaborates to offer crisis intervention, housing support, legal advocacy, and counseling services. By working together, they ensure that clients receive holistic support tailored to their individual needs, fostering safety and empowerment.
