Carolina Acero Garcia

Carolina Acero Garcia has a diverse work experience in finance and analysis. Carolina started their career at the Ministerio de Defensa de Colombia, where they worked as a Financial Analyst involved in evaluating projects and initiatives through Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). Carolina then moved on to Pizano S.A as a Financial Analyst, where they focused on strategic and financial evaluation of projects and initiatives. Acero Garcia then joined Inverlink as a Private Equity Senior Financial Analyst, with responsibilities including evaluating potential commercial real estate acquisitions.

In 2017, they joined Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd as a Sr Analyst in the Finance Rotational Program. Carolina'sresponsibilities in this role involved financial analysis and rotation through different finance positions. Later, Acero Garcia worked at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, starting as a Sr FP&A and Treasury Analyst, and subsequently taking on roles as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and Director - FP&A and Treasury. Currently, they hold the position of VP Finance at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

Carolina Acero Garcia pursued their education with an impressive track record. Starting from 2005 to 2010, they attended Universidad de Los Andes, where they excelled and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, with a major in Economics and Business Management. Following this, from 2011 to 2012, they further expanded their knowledge in financial management by completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management at the same university. Seeking deeper expertise in finance, Carolina pursued a Master of Science in Finance from 2012 to 2014 at Universidad de Los Andes. To complement their financial acumen with strategic business skills, they attended Harvard Business School from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Through their educational journey, Carolina Acero Garcia demonstrated their commitment to intellectual growth and a strong foundation in economics, business management, finance, and strategic business thinking.
