Mario Piergallini

Mario Piergallini, CPA, has extensive work experience in accounting and finance. Mario is currently serving as the VP of Accounting and Finance Transformation at Hippo Insurance since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Accounting at Hippo Insurance from September 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining Hippo Insurance, Mario held several roles at Genesys. Mario worked as the Assistant Corporate Controller from April 2020 to September 2020 and as the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting from August 2019 to April 2020.

From 2015 to 2019, Mario worked at Broadcom Limited, where they served as the External Reporting Manager from November 2015 to August 2019. Mario also held the position of Senior Manager of Technical Accounting and External Reporting from November 2017 to July 2019.

In 2015, Mario briefly worked at Juniper Networks as the Technical and Accounting Policies Manager from July 2015 to October 2015.

Mario began their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2009, where they worked as an Assurance Manager until July 2015. In this role, they managed engagements of varying sizes and supervised cross-functional teams.

Prior to their career in accounting, Mario worked as a Sales Associate at Carmax from 2005 to 2007 and as a Loan Officer at Ameriquent Mortgage Company in 2006.

Mario Piergallini, CPA attended San Jose State University from 2008 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Corporate Financial Management. Mario later obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the California Board of Accountancy in April 2014.
