Jason Straka

Jason Straka has a wide range of work experience in various industries. Jason currently holds the position of Director of Strategic Initiatives at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked at Miami HEAT as the Director of Strategic Planning & Innovation from December 2019 to May 2022, and as the Manager of Strategic Planning & Innovation from May 2017 to December 2019. Jason also has experience working at Assurant as a Portfolio Manager and Program Manager from January 2017 to May 2017, and from June 2015 to January 2017, respectively. Before that, they served as a Global Project Manager at Bacardi from October 2013 to June 2015, and as an MBA Associate, Business Transformation at MetLife from May 2012 to April 2013. Furthermore, Jason has freelanced in various roles such as Project/Product/Event Manager from September 2003 to August 2012, and worked as a Business Strategy Consultant at JS Hospitality from March 2009 to February 2011.

Jason Straka earned a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Systems Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Jason later attended Rutgers Business School from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Marketing & Business Strategy. In addition to their degrees, Jason also holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which they obtained in July 2013, and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from Rutgers University, which they obtained in May 2013.
