Alex Gilroy

Alex Gilroy is an experienced GIS and Technical Analyst currently employed at The Rivers Trust since December 2022. Previously, Alex served as the Lead Advisor for Land Management and Conservation at Natural England from February 2020 to February 2023. Additional roles include Pollution EDM Technician at South West Water and various advisory and survey positions at Natural England and Lulworth Estate. Alex's background combines practical experience in ecological surveying, environmental services, and volunteer management, supported by a strong educational foundation, including a Master's degree in Environmental Consultancy and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Sports Science from the University of Plymouth.
