Andrew Sweet

Vice President, Innovation

Andrew Sweet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international relations and policy. Currently, Andrew serves as Vice President of Innovation and Vice President of Covid-19 Response and Recovery at The Rockefeller Foundation, where Andrew also held the role of Special Advisor for COVID-19 Response on secondment from Dalberg. Prior to this, Andrew was an Associate Partner and Johannesburg Office Director at Dalberg Advisors, overseeing operations and talent management for the South Africa office. Andrew's experience at the United States Agency for International Development included roles as Senior Advisor to the Administrator and Conflict Advisor, focusing on food security, energy initiatives, and conflict assessments in West Africa. Earlier in Andrew's career, work included a research associate position at the Center for American Progress and as a Natural Resource Management Volunteer with the Peace Corps. Andrew holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations from Michigan State University.
