Paid Media Lead - DMMO at The Royal Commission for AlUla

John Roper has a diverse work experience in the field of digital marketing. John started their career as a Digital Account Manager at Latitude Digital Marketing from 2012 to 2017. John then worked as a Senior Digital Account Manager at Mirum Agency from 2017 to 2019, where they were responsible for managing relationships with marketing teams and creating cross-organizational alignment. John furthered their career as a Senior eCommerce Manager at Emirates from 2019 to 2020, managing online performance for various travel brands and overseeing digital analytics. Subsequently, they joined Privilee in 2020 as a Senior eCommerce Manager, where they had overall responsibility for online performance marketing strategies. John played a key role in building the digital ecosystem and implementing effective campaigns within a short period of time. In 2021, John became the Global Paid Media Manager at NEOM, a $500 billion giga city being built in Saudi Arabia. John was responsible for the overall global paid media strategy and played a crucial role in driving brand awareness and increasing revenue. Most recently, they joined The Royal Commission for AlUla in 2023 as the Paid Media Lead - DMMO.

John Roper attended Weaverham High School from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Higher National Diploma. Prior to that, they attended Cambridge High School from 1997 to 2001. Currently, John is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Gloucestershire, which they began in 2023.
