Ayse Tashkiran

Ayse Tashkiran has a diverse work experience in the field of movement direction and performing arts. Ayse has worked as a Freelance Movement Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company since 2009, where they have been involved in various productions. Ayse has also held the role of Senior Lecturer at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama since 2003. Ayse has worked with other theater companies such as Hampstead Theatre, Manchester Royal Exchange, and Welsh National Opera as a Freelance Movement Director, contributing to specific productions. In addition, they have experience as a Performer, Movement Director, and Producer with Chi Chi Bunichi. Ayse has also worked as a Senior Tutor for Movement at Guildford School of Acting. Ayse Tashkiran pursued their education starting in 1985, when they attended the University of Bristol and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Drama. Ayse continued their studies in 1990 at Ecoles Jacques Lecoq, where they specialized in Physical Theatre. In 2003, they obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
