Jonathan Jones is a Professor and Senior Scientist at The Sainsbury Laboratory, John Innes Centre, where employment began in September 1988. Previously, Jonathan worked as a researcher and researcher scientist at advanced genetic sciences from January 1983 to June 1988, contributing to a startup agbiotech company focused on molecular biology innovations for crop improvement. Jonathan graduated in Botany and attended Hampton Grammar School in SW London from 1964 to 1972.
