Krista Young

Krista Young is a skilled Product Designer currently working at The Sak since August 2023, while also serving as a Guest Textile Teacher at UR Fancy Shop since February 2023. Krista operates Krista Marie Young since December 2020, and previously worked in design and operations at Horti from July 2021 to August 2023. Experience includes roles as a Studio Assistant for Misha Kahn and Summer Wheat Studios, as well as a Textile Designer at Scalamandre, where the focus was as a Design Assistant. Earlier roles include various teaching assistant positions at the Rhode Island School of Design, a ceramics studio assistant at Good Life Ceramics, and an instructor at Maude Kerns Art Center. Krista holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Textiles with Honors from the Rhode Island School of Design, completed between 2016 and 2019, and attended the University of Oregon from 2014 to 2016.
