Scott Desantis

Scott DeSantis currently serves as the Division SATERN Coordinator for The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division, a role focused on coordinating ham radio operators for disaster communication. Additionally, Scott has been a volunteer for The Salvation Army since November 2019 and has worked as a 9-1-1 Tele-Communicator for the McHenry County Sheriff's Office since July 1991. Previous experience includes serving as the Assistant Section Manager for ARRL from July 2014 to June 2020 and as the Illinois Section Affiliated Club Coordinator, where responsibilities involved supporting and collaborating with local Amateur Radio clubs. Scott also volunteered with the McHenry County Emergency Management Agency from May 2013 to December 2019 and worked as a Communications Specialist at the Richmond Township Fire Protection District from May 2007 to September 2009. Scott graduated from Crystal Lake Central High School in 1989.
