Antonio Toscano de Brito

Antonio Toscano de Brito is an accomplished professional in botany and plant biology, currently serving as the Curator of the Orchid Research Center and Research Botanist at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens since April 2011. With prior experience as a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University from August 2010 to February 2011, Toscano de Brito brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field. Antonio Toscano de Brito earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Botany/Plant Biology from the University of Reading and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, between 1989 and 1994.
