Marsha Evans

Manager, Friendly Visitor Program at The Senior Source

Marsha Evans has been working in the professional world since 2000. Marsha began their career at the Dallas Regional Chamber, where they held the roles of Vice President of Membership Sales and Retention, Vice President of Member Relations and Administration, and Chief Administrative Officer. In 2011, they joined The Senior Source as Manager of the Friendly Visitor Program and later as Friendly Visitor Program Coordinator, where they managed and coordinated the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, Friendly Visitor Project by recruiting individuals and groups to volunteer in Dallas County nursing homes and assisted living facilities.

Marsha Evans holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Alabama. Marsha also has two certifications: Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Behavioral Health (obtained in December 2019) and Long-Term Care Ombudsman from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
