Samantha Dean

Samantha Dean is an experienced educator specializing in special education, currently serving as the Lead Special Education Teacher at The Shefa School since July 2020. Prior to this role, Samantha held a similar position at the NYC Department of Education from August 2019 to August 2020, focusing on a 4th Grade ICT Classroom, and worked as a Special Education Teacher at The Parkside School from August 2017 to August 2019. Samantha's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Michigan, a Master's degree in Childhood and Special Education from Touro University, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Hunter College, expected to be completed in June 2025.
