Jamie Smart's work experience includes:

1. Deputy Head of Mathematics at The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys since August 2021, where they are second in command for the Math department and provide professional development to teaching staff.

2. Teacher of Mathematics at The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys from August 2020 to August 2021.

3. Head of House (Housemaster) at Harrow International School Beijing from August 2019 to July 2020, responsible for behavior and pastoral lead for Song Qing Ling House in KS3.

Jamie Smart has a diverse education history. In 2005, Jamie obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Plymouth University. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2005, Jamie attended St Boniface's Catholic College and achieved 4 A2s in English Literature (A), Mathematics (B), Physics (C), and Geography (C), as well as 11 GCSEs at grades A*-C.

In 2010, Jamie pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a specialization in Secondary Mathematics at the University of St. Mark and St. John, completing it in 2012.

From 2012 to 2014, Jamie attended St. Boniface's Catholic College once again, this time focusing on education through the program "Leading From The Middle."

Jamie has also obtained several additional certifications, including "Coaching/Leading Professional Teaching Communities" from Infinite Learning in November 2021, "Exploring Educational Leadership" from The Open University in February 2021, and "Apple Teacher" from Apple in October 2020. Additionally, Jamie holds multiple certifications from Tes in various topics such as health and safety, safeguarding young people, assessment for learning, effective questioning, and lesson planning. These certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2022.
