Senior Media Planner at The Shipyard

Josh Biggs has been working in the professional world since 2015. Josh began their career as a Bartender at Outback Steakhouse and then moved on to become a Leasing Consultant at The Hills of Harrisonburg: Northview in 2017. In 2020, they took on the role of Digital Marketing Analyst at Team Velocity, an automotive digital advertising agency. In this role, they worked on 200-300 clients' social and SEM accounts per month, analyzed metrics to provide data-driven recommendations, and had experience pacing and monitoring large monthly budgets across multiple advertising platforms and products. Also in 2020, Josh interned at Thomas Jennings Open Learning Village, where they updated and maintained their social media platforms and created a marketing plan aimed at developing partnerships with higher educational institutions. Most recently, in 2021, Josh joined The Shipyard as a Media Planner and then moved up to become a Junior Media Planner.

Josh Biggs attended James Madison University from 2016 to 2020, where they earned a B.B.A. and B.A. in Marketing and Geographic Sciences. Josh also completed a study abroad program at the University of Antwerp in 2019, with a European Business Concentration.
