Farhad Haghighi Zadeh

Farhad Haghighi Zadeh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Farhad'smost recent position is a Principal Digital Design Engineer at The Six Semiconductor, where they have been working since May 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Staff Digital Design Engineer at the same company from August 2019 to May 2022.

Before joining The Six Semiconductor, Farhad worked at Synopsys Inc as a Senior Security R&D Engineer from December 2015 to July 2019. In this role, they were the technical lead for the company's Random Number Generator (RNG) IPs, handling all aspects of development, research, implementation, verification, evaluation, training, and customer support.

Farhad also has experience at Qualcomm as a Design Verification Engineer from July 2014 to December 2015. In this role, they performed constrained-random verification on the Multimedia Sub-System using Universal Verification Methodology, collaborated with various teams, and ensured the highest quality assurance for parallel projects.

Farhad's earlier experiences include working at Elliptic Technologies as an ASIC Designer/Architect from July 2013 to June 2014, where they successfully completed multiple key cryptographic core projects and built verification environments using SystemVerilog-UVM. Farhad also worked at Insight Design Labs Inc. as a Hardware Engineer from January 2013 to June 2013, participating in system level verification and developing RTL code for a UDP Encapsulation block.

Additionally, Farhad has research and teaching experience from their time at the University of Waterloo and Sharif University of Technology. At the University of Waterloo, they served as a Research Assistant from September 2010 to December 2012, working on various projects related to ASIC implementation, low-power circuit design, and programming. Farhad also worked as a Teaching Assistant from January 2011 to September 2012.

Finally, at Sharif University of Technology, Farhad worked as a Teaching Assistant from September 2008 to June 2010.
