John Blake

John Blake has a strong background in the financial and trust services industry. John started their career in 2004 at Merrill Lynch Bank & Trust Company, where they worked as a Trust Administrator. John then moved on to Abacus Trust Company Limited as a Senior Trust & Company Administrator from 2006 to 2009. In 2011, they joined Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited as a Senior Administrator, specializing in Yachting & Aviation. Following that, they worked at ILS World as a Fiduciary Services Manager & MLRO (UK) from 2014 to 2016. In 2016, they joined Register An Aircraft.com Limited as a Consultant, focusing on aircraft registration and offshore corporate ownership structures. During this time, they also held various roles at The Sovereign Group, including director positions and roles related to business development and client services. Currently, they serve as the Director of Group Strategy at The Sovereign Group.

John Blake's education history includes a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors (IoD) in 2023, a Certificate in Company Direction from IoD from 2020 to 2022, an ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from The International Compliance Association from 2015 to 2016, and a Diploma in International Trust Management from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners from 2006 to 2008. In addition, they obtained an ICA Fellow Membership from the International Compliance Association in September 2023.
