Luis Carlos Vega Ruiz

R&d Team Lead at The Spearhead Group

Luis Carlos Vega Ruiz has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2014 as a Junior Designer at Esrawe Studio where they worked on furniture design, conceptualization, and interior proposals. From there, they worked as a Junior Industrial Designer at Pentagono Estudio Mx and later as an Industrial Designer at FraberExpo. In 2016, they joined MDC Muebles de Concreto as a Design and Production Developer. In the same year, they worked at Studio Orfeo Quagliata as a Junior Designer and Project Manager.

In 2017, Luis Carlos became a Community Development Leader at Encuentro con México por los más necesitados A.C., where they focused on the integral development of indigenous communities in extreme poverty, including projects such as professional volunteering, house construction, and public space rehabilitation.

In 2018, they took on roles as a Product Designer and Project Manager at both FabLab Impact and Smart Impact Accelerator, working on various product designs and managing projects.

Most recently, in 2021, Luis Carlos joined The Spearhead Group, Inc. as a Project Ringmaster, overseeing project operations. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of R&D Team Lead.

Luis Carlos Vega Ruiz pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2010 to 2015. Luis Carlos'sfield of study focused on industrial and product design. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including becoming a Mentor Exatec from Tecnológico de Monterrey in May 2022. In October 2020, they achieved the certification of "Soy Líder 34" from Asociación Cívica de La Laguna. In June 2020, Luis Carlos obtained the HIGH5 Strengths Test certification, showcasing their strengths in believing, commanding, coaching, delivering, and problem-solving. Luis Carlos also gained the Solidworks CSWP-Mechanical Design certification from Dassault Systèmes in June 2019. Lastly, in January 2018, they completed the International Formation in Social Doctrine of the Church from Academia Latinoamericana de Líderes Católicos.
