Alec Coakley

Alec Coakley has diverse work experience in various industries. Alec worked as a Hockey Coach at The St. James, coaching a U12 team and providing individual goalie coaching. At United Christian Church of Dubai, they served as an English Second Language Teacher, teaching English to a Chinese-speaking population and experiencing Mandarin immersion by living with the Chinese community. Alec also worked as a Sports Coach at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School, assisting with high school wrestling and ice hockey teams and serving as the head coach for the middle school ice hockey team. Alec taught English to Mandarin-speaking high school students at Jefferson County Public Schools and incorporated their Mandarin skills to enhance their learning experience. In addition, Alec gained sales experience as a Sales Representative at CUTCO Cutlery, selling knives and other kitchen equipment. Prior to that, they worked as a Construction Worker at Scott Fuller Construction.

Alec Coakley obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder. Alec attended the university from 2017 to 2021. In May 2021, they also obtained a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from the International TEFL Academy.
