Elisa M.

Elisa M. is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in biomedical research and cancer care. Currently at The START Center for Cancer Care, Elisa oversees the expedited testing of pharmaceutical therapies in patient-derived xenograft models, enhancing revenue growth and partnership opportunities while analyzing genomic datasets to inform therapeutic responses. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Washington University School of Medicine, where Elisa supervised a research team and managed a $100,000 project focused on HER2 mutations in colon cancer, resulting in multiple publications. Additional roles include a Chemistry Teaching Assistant at Lindenwood University and research positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Purdue University. Elisa holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from Lindenwood University.
