Jim Becker

Jim Becker has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Jim started their career at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in 1983 as an Information Processing Specialist, where they developed and produced sales analysis reports using IBM PC and VisiCalc software. Jim then moved on to Eric Copland & Associates Law Firm in 1986, where they served as an Application Developer and Database Manager, specializing in U.S. Immigration law. In 1984, they joined The State University of New York as a Student Assistant and later took on roles such as User Services Support Specialist, Senior Support Specialist, and Manager of LAN Services. Currently, Jim Becker holds the position of Director of Information Technology at The State University of New York.

Jim Becker pursued their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics, Computer Science, and Meteorology at the University at Albany, SUNY from 1980 to 1984.
