Jimena Alamo

Jimena Alamo has a diverse work experience, starting as a DPhil Candidate's Research Assistant in 2020. Jimena then interned at Alimenta La Solidaridad, Inc. in 2021. In the same year, they became involved with the University of Bath Latin American Society, first as the Social Secretary and then as the Chairperson. In 2022, they worked at The Bird, Bath as a Server and later became a Bartender. Jimena also has experience as a Camp Counselor and Camp Coordinator at Camp La Llanada since 2016. Finally, in 2023, they will become the Student Union President at The SU, University of Bath.

Jimena Alamo attended Colegio Integral El Avila CIEA from 2004 to 2019 for their primary and secondary education. In 2017, they also attended Colegio Babeque Secundaria.

In 2017, Jimena participated in the Phillips Exeter Academy Summer Program, where they studied Journalism and Politics.

In 2018, they attended the Oxford Tradition Summer Program at Oxbridge Academic Programs, focusing on International Relations and Journalism.

From 2020 to 2023, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Bath. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Philosophy, Science, and Religion from Coursera in October 2019 and June 2020, respectively.
