Alda Atherton

Human Resources Generalist at The Superior Group

Alda Atherton has a diverse range of work experience. Alda began working at COTA in 2007 as a VM Coordinator and HR Coordinator. In this role, they served as a key representative of the HR Department, liaising with union personnel and overseeing communication between executive officers and employees. Alda supported the annual strategic planning process and other human resources programs.

Alda then joined The Superior Group in 2016 as an Executive Administrator. Alda provided executive officers with a prioritized agenda, drafted and distributed executive correspondence, reports, and project updates. Alda later transitioned to the role of Bid Coordinator/Executive Administrator, where they served as direct support for the CEO, SVP, and VP. Alda liaised with personnel, vendors, clients, and government agencies, and actively participated in Estimation, Project Support, and Operations teams.

In 2018, Alda took on the role of Contract Administrator at The Superior Group. In this position, they fulfilled contractual duties and responsibilities. Alda currently holds the position of Human Resources Generalist at The Superior Group, starting in March 2020.

Overall, Alda has demonstrated strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills throughout their work experience.

Alda Atherton attended Columbus State Community College from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Human Resources Management and Services. Alda did not obtain a degree during their time at the college. In March 2023, they obtained a certification in "Nano Tips for Using Excel" from LinkedIn, under the guidance of Kat Norton.
