Jose Duenas

Jose Duenas is a skilled professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and patent engineering. Currently serving as a Patent Engineer at the Swedish Patent and Registration Office since September 2018, Jose has a strong background in energy systems, having completed a Master Thesis at Svenska kraftnät focused on modeling zero-sequence impedance in power transformers using MATLAB. Prior to this, Jose contributed to the Royal Seaport Research Program at Fortum Generation AB, where automation equipment was tested and deployed for optimizing energy consumption. Education includes a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by language studies in Swedish as a second language at Stockholm University. Early career experience includes roles as a Database Administrator with the Virginia Department of Education and as a substitute Spanish teacher at John Bauer Gymnasiet.
