Ryan Benson

Ryan Benson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Ryan started their career as an In-shop employee at Jimmy John's from April 2012 to February 2013. In 2015, they worked as an intern at Infinite Studios and also as a Protools Technician at the Academy of Art University from October 2015 to January 2016. Ryan then joined Media City Sound as a Production Assistant from January 2016 to August 2016. In the same year, they worked as a Master Control Operator at Pacific Television Center from August 2016 to July 2017. Ryan also worked as a Freelance Technician at AVent Techs from September 2015 to September 2016. From August 2016 to November 2018, Ryan worked at The Switch as an NOC/MCR Operator, before transitioning to the role of OTT Encoding Technician from December 2017 to November 2018. Ryan then became an OTT Engineer/Event Manager at The Switch from November 2018 to August 2021. More recently, they have taken on the role of OTT Solutions Architect at The Switch starting in August 2021.

From 2014 to 2015, Ryan Benson attended the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences, where they pursued a diploma in Music Production/Post Production Audio Engineering.
