Matt Fleming has over 20 years of work experience in the media industry. Matt started their career as a Delegue International at RCI Banque in 1997 and worked there until 2001. From 2000 to 2001, they were a staff writer and acting editor at Champions League magazine. Matt then joined IPC Media as a Sub-Editor/Staff Writer for 4x4 Magazine from 2001 to 2003. Matt then worked at The Independent as a Sport sub-editor from 2003 to 2007, and later became an Assistant Editor (Sport) from 2007 to 2012. Since 2012, they have been working at The Telegraph, initially as a Senior Journalist and then moving up the ranks to roles such as Sunday Telegraph Sport Editor, Sport Editor, and Head of Editorial. Currently, they hold the position of Publishing Director, Commercial Content at The Telegraph.
Matt Fleming attended the University of Leeds from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Economics.
