Alejandra Martinez is an accomplished environmental reporter at The Texas Tribune since October 2022, following experiences at KERA as a Dallas Accountability Reporter and Report For America corps member, where coverage focused on COVID-19's impact on marginalized communities. Prior experience includes reporting for Public Radio International on the young Latino electorate during the 2020 presidential election and producing for WLRN Public Radio & Television, focusing on immigration and local arts. Alejandra's early career involved roles at KUT Public Media and NPR, along with serving as the Managing Editor for Orange Magazine. Alejandra holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from IE University.
