Jamie Marshall is the Cofounder and COO of Snackpass, a company focused on integrating social interaction with mobile ordering, a role held since July 2017. Additionally, Jamie has been a Thiel Fellow since July 2019, participating in a prestigious program that supports young innovators who have chosen to leave college to pursue entrepreneurial endeavors. Jamie has also completed the Y Combinator W18 program, recognized for its rigorous selection process, and interned at Yale University's Gerstein Laboratory, contributing to research in computational biology and bioinformatics. Prior experience includes a growth internship at CoachUp, a firm that connects athletes with coaches. Jamie holds a B.S. in Neuroscience from Yale University and attended Moses Brown School for high school education while also having engaged with the London School of Economics.

Freedom is always under siege. Around the world, authoritarian regimes deprive millions of people of basic economic and social rights. Even elected governments can burden their citizens with labyrinthine bureaucracies and complex, unnecessary laws. And while some regimes are obviously worse than others, they all have apologists who obscure these conditions by twisting the relationship between freedom and human fulfillment.
