Gracie McKenzie is an experienced editor and writer with a robust background in audience engagement and digital media. Currently serving as Impact + Audience Editor and Engagement Editor at The Trace since May 2020, Gracie is responsible for promoting stories and editing various content types. Gracie also holds the position of Managing Editor at 730DC, where coordination of contributors and scheduling for a daily newsletter is essential. Previous roles at CityLab involved leading audience engagement across multiple platforms and managing significant social media accounts. Gracie has also contributed to NPR and WAMU's The Diane Rehm Show and has experience in digital production, social media management, and audience development from internships and assistant positions, culminating in a Bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Tufts University.
