Artem Lomakin

Artem Lomakin, PhD has a diverse work experience, starting in 2002 as the Head of Automated Information Systems Development Department at Triumvirat Development. During this time, they single-handedly developed the B2B-Energo.ru e-commerce system, which automated procurement processes for the Unified Energy System of Russia. This project formed the basis of their Ph.D. In 2005, Artem joined B2B-Center, an e-marketplace, as the Chief Technology Officer, where they stayed until 2023. Most recently, in 2023, they became the Chief Innovation Officer at The Trading Pit.

Artem Lomakin, PhD, has an education history that includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET), obtained between 2002 and 2005. Prior to this, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing it from 1997 to 2002. In addition to their academic qualifications, Artem has also obtained certifications, including the EF SET English Certificate with a score of 79/100 (C2 Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in 2023, and a certification in Machine Learning and Data Analysis from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Yandex & E-Learning Development Fund on Coursera in 2020.
