Himanshu Tahelyani

Himanshu Tahelyani is a data science professional currently working as a Data Science Intern at Travelers since June 2024, where advanced statistical methods have been utilized to down-sample a large dataset while maintaining its integrity. Previously, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University from September 2023 to June 2024, detailed instruction on Python and machine learning was provided to over 150 students. Himanshu also contributed as a Data Science Intern at SmartKnower in mid-2021, enhancing student enrollment predictions and improving data quality through effective preprocessing techniques. Earlier experience includes a role as an Operations Team Member at Acc Cement, where responsibilities encompassed equipment tracking and gaining insights into power plant operations. Himanshu is pursuing a Master of Science in Data Science at Northeastern University, having completed a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from SRM IST Chennai.
