Richard C. Ives

Richard C. Ives is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Business Insurance Claim at Travelers since June 2008. In this role, Richard leads a broad spectrum of claim operations, including Workers Compensation, General Liability, and various specialty claims. Previously, Richard held the position of Vice President for both Workers Compensation and Auto Claims, playing a pivotal role in strategic leadership for Travelers. Prior to their current position, Richard served as Vice President and Chief Claim Officer at Travelers of Massachusetts, where oversight of Personal Insurance claim operations was essential. Richard's career at Travelers began in 1997, with early roles focused on operations management and claim services. Additionally, Richard contributes to the community as Head Coach of the Varsity Wrestling Team at Stafford High School, fostering character development and leadership in young athletes.
