Maggie Hanson-Muse

Maggie Hanson-Muse serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the US-ASEAN Business Council since March 2023, overseeing strategic planning, IT, human resources, and communications, while also holding the position of President of the US-ASEAN Business Council Institute, a 501(c)3 organization. Currently, Maggie is a member of several boards and committees, including the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market and the Pan American Development Foundation, and has been involved in the Women Corporate Directors Foundation since 2019. Prior roles in the U.S. Commercial Service include Minister Counselor for Commercial Affairs in the ASEAN region and Chief Operating Officer in India, and Maggie co-founded chapters of Women Corporate Directors in Myanmar and Bogota. With an MBA from Columbia Business School and additional executive education focused on sustainable development, Maggie's extensive background spans over two decades in international trade and strategic leadership.
