Tim Hackborn

Tim Hackborn is an experienced professional with a focus on community engagement and support services, currently serving as Co-Chair of the Indigenous Community Advisory Board on Homelessness and Housing since September 2021 and as Indigenous Vocation Minister for The United Church of Canada since October 2019. Tim has been a Board Member and Treasurer at Nishnawbe Homes INC since 2005, contributing to the agency's governance. Previous roles include Program Manager at Access Independent Living Services, managing support for individuals with physical disabilities, and at the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres. Tim also has extensive experience in shelter management, administrative leadership, and community program development across various organizations, with a foundation in theology from Elim Bible Institute.
