Josh Landis

Associate Director, Community Philanthropy at United Way of Greater Cleveland

Josh Landis has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Josh is currently working as the Associate Director of Community Philanthropy at the United Way of Greater Cleveland. Previously, they served as the Artistic Director and Managing Producer at the Academy for Dramatic Arts, where they established a new theatre and managed day-to-day operations. Josh also worked as the Annual Fund Manager at The Cleveland Orchestra, overseeing donor giving and managing prospects for philanthropic support. Josh has experience in youth development management as the Youth Development Manager at the Great Lakes Science Center, where they successfully increased program attendance and managed a significant budget. Additionally, Josh worked as the Family Ministry Director at Renew Communities, creating a nurturing environment for education and overseeing weekly programs. Lastly, they served as the Creative Director at Impact Campus, providing well-rounded and age-appropriate programs, developing curriculum, and communicating with educators.

Josh Landis completed their B.A. in Youth Ministry and Dance at Eastern University from 2003 to 2007. In 2023, they began attending Veritas Group Academy, where they obtained a Certification in Mid-Level Fundraising, specializing in Fundraising, and completed their studies in 2033. Josh also obtained additional certifications, such as the Mid-Level Cert Course Veritus Scholar Certificate from Veritus Group Academy in July 2023, the American Red Cross Trainer certification from the American Red Cross in January 2015, and Leadership with Purpose and Transformational Leadership certification from Learning and Vision Associates in February 2008.
