Dipanjan Mitra Ms

Dipanjan Mitra MS, MBA, is currently a PhD student at The University of Alabama, having joined in August 2021. Prior to this, Dipanjan held the position of Senior Geoscientist at Schlumberger for a brief period in 2020. At ION Geophysical, from 2007 to 2015, Dipanjan progressed through roles from Geophysicist I to Lead Imager, leading a team in solving complex geophysical challenges and delivering projects efficiently. Earlier experience includes serving as a Wellsite Geologist and Mudlogger at Geoservices, SA. Dipanjan's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Geology and Geophysics from Rice University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an MSc in Applied Geology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a BSc in Geology from Presidency College.
