Kaylea Hudson

Research Group Lead at The University of Alabama

Kaylea Hudson has a diverse range of work experience. Kaylea has served as the Founding President of the Friends of MSF Chapter at the University of Alabama, where they led meetings and organized a medical outreach trip to Ghana. Kaylea was also a member of Mortar Board, where they served as the Rose Sales and Service Chair and led service projects and rose sales to raise money for the scholarship fund. At the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Kaylea held various roles including Vice President of External Operations, Director of Miracle Maker Relations, and Alpha Chi Omega Team Captain. Kaylea was responsible for communication, recruitment, and involvement of miracle makers, as well as raising funds for the organization. Additionally, Kaylea worked as an Assistant VP of Philanthropy for the Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, a Certified Medical Assistant at Urgent Care for Children, and a Research Group Lead and Team Captain at the University of Alabama. Kaylea also served as the Treasurer and an International Volunteer for Volunteers Around the World - Brownsville, where they collected funds and participated in free mobile clinics. Finally, Kaylea gained experience as a Summer Student Intern at Children's of Alabama, where they worked in the laboratory.

Kaylea Hudson attended R. L. Paschal High School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained their High School Diploma with a STEM endorsement. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance at The University of Alabama, with anticipated graduation dates in 2024.
