Masahiko Yasui

Masahiko Yasui is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Arizona since September 2025, with prior experience as a Senior Machine Vision Engineer at Radiant Vision Systems and a part-time researcher at the Tokyo Institute of Technology, where the focus was on projection mapping using a mixed light field approach. Previous roles include an engineer at KONICA MINOLTA, INC., and a significant tenure at Hitachi, where an aggregation method for explainable AI (XAI) results was developed. Masahiko Yasui completed a Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo, where innovative work on dynamic illumination systems and low-latency interaction systems was conducted during doctoral and master's studies. Additionally, Masahiko Yasui has a unique background as a professional cyclist, being a member of the Shimano Racing Team.
