Mark Seddon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international relations and communications. Currently serving as Founding Partner at Derwent Advisory since April 2020 and Director of the Centre for UN Studies at the University of Buckingham since October 2017, Mark has a strong background in the United Nations, having held the position of Senior Communications Adviser to H. E. Maria Fernanda Espinosa, President of the UN General Assembly, from August 2018 to October 2019. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Speechwriter and Communications Adviser to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon from January 2014 to January 2016, where responsibilities included crafting speeches and providing communications strategy. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia.
