Chris Puntasecca

Chris Puntasecca is an Emergency Medicine Resident at the University of Chicago since July 2023, following completion of a Doctor of Medicine degree at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2023. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Lead Learning Consultant and Peer Academic Coach at Stanford University from September 2019 to May 2023, along with experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and STEM + E Tutor at the College of the Holy Cross from 2015 to 2019. Chris has also contributed to clinical research as an Emergency Medicine Research Assistant at UMass Memorial Medical Center and held internships at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, where responsibilities included the development of clinical databases and data management. Additionally, Chris has a background in athletics as a pole vaulter and decathlete, having served as team captain in the final year. Academic foundations include a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and Classics from the College of the Holy Cross.
