Dagmawi Bogale

Dagmawi Bogale is a dedicated academic currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology at the University of Chicago, having previously attained a Master of Science (MS) in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Microbiology, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biomedical Sciences from Quinnipiac University. Professional experience includes serving as a PhD Student at the University of Chicago, a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, Berkeley, a Research Technician at UConn Research, and a Graduate Assistant at Quinnipiac University, where involvement in the QUADS program fostered science skills among high school students. Dagmawi also held roles such as Research Assistant, Resident Assistant for the Multicultural Living and Learning Community, and Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Yale School of Medicine, where contributions were made to the PATHS program. A research internship at QUIP_RS focused on exploring the relationship between gut microbiota and neuropsychiatric disorders.
