Daisy Bissonette

Daisy Bissonette is a graduate student at the University of Chicago pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics. Prior experience includes tutoring high school and college students at SoFlo SAT Tutoring, where Daisy focused on SAT/ACT prep and mathematics. Daisy participated in significant research roles, including an internship at Cardiff University, where analysis of CO molecular gas observations contributed to understanding dark matter in galaxies. Daisy also served as a teaching assistant at Princeton University, facilitating student learning in astronomy. Additional experience includes processing x-ray data from Sgr A* and contributing to FDA-approved stent designs during a research and development internship at NuMED. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics from Princeton University and prior dual-enrollment studies at North Country Community College and Cornell University.
