Elena Rizzo has extensive experience in academic administration and library services, currently serving as the Director of Graduate Education for Neuroscience and Medical Physics, as well as the Administrative Director for the Neuroscience Cluster at the University of Chicago since May 2013. Previous roles at the University of Chicago include positions in recruitment, outreach, communications, and library circulation. Prior to this, Elena Rizzo worked as an Electronic Publishing Assistant at the University of Chicago Press - BiblioVault, and held library assistant roles at the University of California Santa Barbara and the University of Michigan. Elena Rizzo holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Università degli Studi di Parma and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
